Title:  Lost City of Z

Author: David Grann
Review: This is was a story about David Grann and Percy Harrison Fawcett. Fawcett an explorer who disappeared in May of 1925 in his last expedition to look for the “City of Z”. David a writer determined to find out what happened to Fawcett in his long expedition with in the Amazon Jungle. David tells both their stories, him as a writer and Fawcett as the explore, intertwining them. They both wonder into the deep jungle of the Amazon. This book was very well written. David wrote so vividly that I could "see" what was happening though out. The one big problem I had was that David would switch between talking about his exploration on finding out what happened to Fawcett and Fawcett's actually adventure mid-chapter. The transition was not always clear causing me to reread many of the pages more then once. I would not recommend this book to those who have a hard time with transitions like these or switch of characters. However, I do highly recommend this book to those who don't have a hard time with these situations, it was still an amazing book to read even if it was quite difficult.
