The book club meetings should be a time to realize the joys of reading just for the fun of it.  While we want our meetings to be relaxed and enjoyable, members need to understand up front that it is a   commitment.  Before joining,  seriously consider your level of  commitment, available time, and the seriousness of your purpose for being here.
